How We Select Products
Products featured on The BBQ Grill are selected by applying a consistent four-part filter to Amazon catalog data. A product must be a real item from a verifiable brand, must show verified buyer demand based on review count or recent purchase data, must carry a rating of 3.8 stars or above, and the brand must be confirmed as genuine. Products that fail any of these criteria are excluded from our rankings.
How We Write About Products
Our product descriptions and buying guides are written from manufacturer specifications, pricing data, ratings and verified buyer demand data. We use fuel type, BTU output, burner count, cooking area, material, weight and price as the primary descriptive dimensions for grills and smokers. We do not invent or contradict specs. If a specification is not available in our data, we omit it rather than estimate.
Independence and Accuracy
Commercial relationships, including affiliate commissions and advertising, do not alter product rankings or review content. Our editors do not accept payment to change a ranking, insert a product that fails our criteria, or describe a product in a way that contradicts verified data. Errors brought to our attention are reviewed and corrected promptly.
